We use Supabase (Supabase Inc.) to store user profiles, application data, and to handle authentication. Data is processed securely. Since Supabase may process data in the US, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure an adequate level of data protection (Art. 46 GDPR).

We offer login via Google OAuth. Profile information (email, name, profile picture) is transferred from Google to us to create a user account. This data is strictly used for account provisioning. Legal basis: Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR (fulfillment of a contract).

For the Motivation Letter Generator and Review tools, your profile data (grades, job experience, fields of interest) is securely transmitted via API to Google Gemini. This data is used solely to generate your specific document and is explicitly NOT used to train third-party AI models. By utilizing the AI features, you consent to this specific processing step.

If you upgrade to a Plus tier, your payment details are processed directly by our secure payment provider (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your credit card information on our servers. Processing is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

You have the right to access, rectify, restrict, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account and all associated documents directly via the platform settings or by contacting us at support@deutics.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
