In the MSc Industrial Artificial Intelligence degree programme, you will acquire comprehensive knowledge in AI-orientated Python programming, machine and deep learning as well as generative AI. You will also expand your knowledge of big data, data science and data engineering. This knowledge is supplemented by practical knowledge of application software packages from well-known manufacturers (e.g., Microsoft, SAP, Siemens, AWS), which deal with topics such as ERP systems, cloud computing, robotic process automation, business intelligence and analytics. Experts in artificial intelligence are sought-after graduates in a rapidly growing market: according to Statista (2024), the market volume will increase from 96 billion USD in 2021 to an estimated 1,848 billion USD in 2030. The programme combines theory and practice within the framework of projects. Learning by doing is at the centre of the programme. Different specialisations are taught in each semester: The Industrial Operation and Transformation specialisation deals with the relevant AI application areas and the associated, marketable AI tools that shape everyday practice. The Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering specialisation provides in-depth knowledge that enables you to independently develop and refine AI tools and thus make an important contribution beyond the practical application of tools.
Requirements can change, so always verify the latest details on the official program page before applying.
