In particular, the production, conversion and storage of energy are fundamentally important chemical issues for current and future generations. Students in the Chemistry Master’s programme acquire detailed knowledge in the following areas: - chemical research and scientific work methods - topical challenges in the core and sub-disciplines of chemistry - scientific and occupation-qualifying competences in chemistry-related application areas They can choose classes from several fields of Chemistry: - Inorganic Chemistry - Organic Chemistry - Physical Chemistry - Analytical Chemistry - Macromolecular Chemistry - Theoretical Chemistry - Energy Technology In addition, students have the opportunity to earn a certificate by choosing up to two of the following thematic profiles to combine with their subject profiles: - Chemistry of Energy Storage and Conversion - Sustainable, Green and Environmental Chemistry - Chemistry of Molecular Materials Light Matter Interaction - Chemistry of Healthcare and Biomaterials.
